The so-called Mechelse Heide Menhir is a standing stone located in the Hoge Kempen National Park in Limburg, Belgium. It lies west of Mechelen-aan-de-Maas, on the Mechelse Heide, just south of a viewpoint with a compass rose marking nearby towns.
Next to the standing stone is a flat stone, and about 40 meters further south are two larger stones. These likely ended up here during the construction of the former white sand quarry, when the top layer of humus, sand, and gravel was piled into the artificial hill that now rises about 100 meters above sea level. A marked trail, part of the park’s hiking network, passes nearby.
