The dolmen, first described in 1896 by the Comte de Moucheron, whose approximately 4.6 × 2.8 m measuring 0.7 m thick capstone lies diagonally on four collapsed supporting stones, is 78 or 30 cm above the ground and is only preserved as a remainder. The megalithic complex has been registered as a Monument historique since 1949.
