Dolmen D15 is located north of the village of Loon in the Dutch province of Drenthe. The medium-sized dolmen D15 is located on the Looner es between Loon and Taarlo and is easily accessible by road.
It is the only dolmen in the Netherlands that is visible from the train (on the Assen-Groningen line). The dolmen is attributed to the Funnel Beaker culture.
The special thing about this dolmen is that it has been relatively completely preserved: there are still 18 of the 23 wreath stones left. In addition, all ten bearing and keystones are still present and the gate is complete with four bearing stones and a capstone. Four of the five capstones are still on the dolmen.
The dolmen is 9.6 meters long and 3.6 meters wide.
