Dolmen D34 is a portal grave. It is located on the Oosterveld between Odoorn and Valthe in the Dutch province of Drenthe. The dolmen can be reached via a dirt road from the road between Valthe and Odoorn.
On the other side of this road lies the largest burial mound in Drenthe; the Eppiesbargie. The dolmen is attributed to the Funnel Beaker Culture. The dolmen is 7.8 meters long and 3.0 meters wide. Three of the five capstones remain. Those ten bearing stones and two keystones are almost hidden below ground level. There are two gate supporting stones. The remainder of the cover mound forms a circle around the dolmen. The oldest trade route in Drenthe runs along D31, D33, D34, D35 and the burial mound Eppiesbargie. The Valtherzandweg is still part of this prehistoric route.
