The Hillhög portal tomb, partially examined by Märta Strömberg in 1971, is situated within a mound with a remaining height of 0.4 m and a diameter of approximately 7.0 m, southeast of Börrby in the municipality of Simrishamn in Scania, Sweden.
The northwest-southeast-oriented chamber of the passage grave (Swedish: Ganggrift) measures 3.5 × 2.2 m. It contains 10 support stones, three each in the long sides and two each in the short sides. The stones have a visible height of 0.5 to 1.2 m, a width of 0.4 to 1.3 m, and a thickness of 0.4 to 1.0 m. Two capstones rest above the entrance to the chamber, measuring 1.3 × 2.0 to 2.2 m and approximately 0.8 m thick per stone. The southeastern passage is about 3.0 m long and 0.8 m wide. It has 4 to 5 lateral support stones (a pair is missing) with a visible height of 0.2 to 1.0 m. They are 0.4 to 1.0 m wide and 0.4 to 0.9 m thick. Probably a former pair of capstones, each about 1.0 m, is not in situ. In the south and southeast, some stones measuring 0.8 to 1.0 m lie, which may be remnants of an encircling edge of the mound.
