Within the city area, there are remnants of 15 additional passage graves, and other megalithic structures can be visited as part of a guided hike. In the surrounding region of Falbygden, there are remnants of 240 passage graves (approximately two-thirds of the 370 Swedish structures). The passage grave is a type of construction from the late Neolithic period, comprising a chamber and a structurally separated, lateral passage. This form is primarily found in Denmark, Germany, and Scandinavia, with occasional occurrences in France and the Netherlands.
