The tilted Portal Tomb of Owning, locally known as “Druids Altar,” is located approximately 50 meters west of the River Pil, south of three hills, in the townland of Owning (in Irish, Ónainn) near Piltown in the western part of County Kilkenny, Ireland.

The two portal stones, measuring 1.6 meters in length, have fallen forward, and the oval capstone, approximately 2.0 meters × 1.8 meters in size, is supported by the side stones and the end stone. A small doorstone blocks access to the northeast-oriented chamber.
