The Vrångstad dolmen (Swedish: Stendös vid Vrångstad or Bottna 1) is located near Kallsängen in the province of Bohuslän in Sweden, just a short distance southwest of the rock carvings at Kallsängen. It was constructed between 3500 and 2800 BCE as a megalithic structure associated with the Funnel Beaker Culture.
This polygonal dolmen, known as a “Dös” in Swedish, is positioned as a transverse chamber within a tumulus. The tumulus retains its structure well, and some of its relatively large border stones are still partially preserved. The protruding capstone rests on relatively small supporting stones, forming a small chamber.
The associated burial site contains 90 monuments, including two stone circles (Swedish: domarringar) from the Iron Age with eight and eleven stones respectively, the passage grave of Tyfta, and a burial ground with standing stones (Swedish: Resta stenar).
