The megalithic sites of Aghnaskeagh (in Irish, Áth na Sceach, meaning “Whitethorn Ford”) comprise mainly a portal tomb, a court tomb, and several stone cists, along with some smaller and less significant structures. The townland of Aghnaskeagh is located in County Louth, Ireland, approximately 10 km north of Dundalk. These sites are designated as National Monuments.
