The Anta da Candieira (also known as Anta Herdade da Candieira) is a megalithic structure located in the Évora district of Alentejo, Portugal.
“Anta” is the Portuguese term for approximately 5000 megalithic structures or dolmens that were constructed during the Neolithic period in the western Iberian Peninsula by the successors of the Cardial or Impresso cultures.
