The Bamut burial mounds - monuments of archaeological heritage, dating back to the second millennium BCE and are located near the village of Bamut, Sernovodsky region (Chechnya). They are located on the left bank of the Fortanga River, 18 kilometres southeast of the regional centre - Sernovodskoye and 50 kilometres southwest of Grozny.
The Bamut burial mounds are recognized as an object of cultural heritage of federal significance.
