Belas Knap

Belas Knap is a Neolithic Chambered Tomb near Winchcombe
BK-2

A Severn-Cotswold Barrow, Belas Knap was built around 3000 BCE.

Over 40 skeletons have been found inside, including those of small children. Unusually the front entrance is actually a fake with the proper (multiple) entrances being located around the sides.

Belas Knap is accessible by a short walk from a small designated lay-by car park.
