The Heraion of Perachora is an ancient sanctuary dedicated to the goddess Hera, located on the northeastern coast of the Peloponnese peninsula in Greece. It was one of the most important sanctuaries of Hera in ancient Greece, and was in use from the 8th century BC until the Roman period.

The sanctuary is situated on a narrow peninsula that extends into the Gulf of Corinth, and is surrounded by beautiful natural scenery. It consists of several structures, including a temple, a treasury, and several other buildings and monuments.

The most prominent structure in the Heraion of Perachora is the temple of Hera Akraia, which was built in the 6th century BC and is one of the earliest examples of the Doric style of architecture in Greece. The temple was built on a raised platform, and was surrounded by a peristyle of 6 columns on the front and back, and 15 columns on the sides. The temple was destroyed by fire in the 4th century BC, but was rebuilt shortly thereafter.

The sanctuary also features a large, rectangular stoa, which was built in the 4th century BC and was used for a variety of purposes, including as a market and a meeting place. The stoa was surrounded by a colonnade of columns, and was decorated with statues and other works of art.

Another notable feature of the Heraion of Perachora is the Treasury of the Sikyonians, which was built in the 6th century BC and was used to store offerings to the goddess Hera. The treasury was decorated with friezes depicting scenes from Greek mythology, including the Labors of Heracles.

It was believed to be a place of great religious significance, and was renowned for its oracle, which was consulted for guidance and advice.
