Massleberg dolmen

The Massleberg Dolmen is located at the roadside east of Strömstad in northern Bohuslän, Sweden. According to Swedish nomenclature, this structure is designated as a passage grave, specifically a polygonal dolmen. The polygonal chamber is formed by five supporting stones and is covered by a single large capstone.

During the Neolithic period, before the land uplift, the valley was still a sea bay, and the structure faced it. The megalithic site has not undergone archaeological investigation yet. It was constructed between 3500 and 2800 BCE as a monument of the Funnel beaker culture.
