Shum-Gora (Peredolskaya Sopka) is a hill, a sacral-funerary ancient Slavic monument located on the left bank of the Luga River, between the villages of Podgorye and Zapolye, Batetsky District, Novgorod Region. The structure dates back to between the 8th and 10th century and is one of the largest medieval burials in Europe – the height of the hill is about 14 m, the diameter of the base is 70 m.
