The Teliţa-Celic Dere Necropolis has been researched by archaeologists since 1985, but nonetheless it has not gained much publicity. The site is ascribed to the late Hallstatt culture, and dates back to the early Second Iron Age, between the 6th and 3rdcenturies BCE.
