Tour de Grisset

The Tour de Grisset is a Gallo-Roman structure located in the village of Grisset, in the northeastern part of France. It is a cylindrical tower that dates back to the 2nd or 3rd century AD and is thought to have served as a temple or a funerary monument.

The tower is approximately 15 meters high and 8 meters in diameter, with walls that are over 2 meters thick. It is made of local limestone and features a spiral staircase inside that leads to the top of the tower.

The purpose of the Tour de Grisset is not entirely clear, but it is believed to have been part of a larger Roman complex that may have included a temple or a theater.
