The reconstructed temple of the Nymphs at Vindolanda is located near the English border with Scotland, close to Hadrian’s wall.

Vindolanda is an import archaeological site that was the location of a Roman fort. Throughout the years, a lot of archaeological research has taken place here. The remains at Vindolanda provide valuable insights into the daily life of the Roman Empire’s northern frontier. The site has yielded numerous artifacts, including writing tablets, which offer a unique glimpse into the lives of the soldiers and civilians who lived there.

The temple of the Nymphs is a beautiful little building, situated next to a stream.
