The Ragutis Altar is located in the heart of the Lithuanian capital of Vilnius. The stone that remains has been the heart of a religious site, the shrine of Ragutis. Ragutis is the Baltic god of beer (Ragutiene is the goddess of beer and Raugo Žemėpatis the god of fermentation).
The gods meet in the sacred temple of Ragutis, and get married every year to initiate a new cycle of rebirth.
