The Carmonita dolmen is located near Avenue Extremadura, north of the village of Carmonita and Mérida and south of Caceres in the province of Badajoz, in Extremadura in Spain.
The dolmen has a round chamber made up of seven bearing stones of different heights (one is missing) and the preserved end of a long corridor that widens towards the chamber and is made of preserved bearing stones that become smaller towards the outside. There are no preserved capstones. The round chamber, which has similarities with the Dolmen Cerro de la Barca and Lácara, which is only 14.0 km away, has largely been deprived of its once covered hill.
