Ancient sacred site atop Mount Mosor, accessible by trails and climbing. A grove of oak trees, one of the symbols of Perun, adorns the area. Also nearby is “zmij kamik” or “snake rock,” a protected site associated with Veles, and Our Lady of Sita, which is said to have once been the domain of Mokosh. One notable aspect of the church is that it has suffered repeated damage by fire and lightning – interpreted by some as Perun’s wrath.
